Together! is proud to celebrate the graduation of Kiros Hailesilassie , a veteran Ethiopian actor and one of the country’s most respected figures in theatre and cinema. Known for his remarkable performances on stage and screen—particularly through his long-standing contribution to the historic Hager Fikir Theatre. Kiros has inspired generations through his artistry and dedication.
This week, he achieved another important milestone: completing Basic Computer Skills and Braille Trainings at Together!’s Resource Center.
In recognition of his commitment to inclusion and his influence in Ethiopian arts, Kiros Hailesilassie also accepted the role of Ambassador for Together! CSO, further strengthening our efforts to promote accessibility and equal opportunities for persons with visual impairments.
The training is part of Together!’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the independence, confidence, and professional opportunities of persons with visual impairments. Kiros actively participated in all sessions, demonstrating the same passion and discipline that have defined his artistic career.
“Learning never stops. This training opened new doors for me,” Kiros shared during the certificate handover. “I am grateful to Together! for making these skills accessible.”
