IT Work-Unit

Provides different services to the right-holders

The Technical and vocational training: theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling students to develop a strong foundation in the field of IT.

On the job training: provides students with the opportunity to apply their learning in real-world scenarios.

Inclusive resource center: TOGETHER has its own liberary that has digital and brail resources in it and it is open for all diferently abel right-holders.

The Technical and vocational training(TVET)

TOGETHER provides a fully equipped, accessible Project and Training Center in Addis Ababa in which capacity building is provided in the form of TVET-accredited Basic Computer Skill Training in adaptive computer applications. This training offers a comprehensive combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling students to develop a strong foundation in the field of Braille literacy and Low Vision, health and independent living skills, English language and Entrepreneurship trainings are being given to visually impaired young adults. Besides training, assistant tangible and audible study materials are being produced.

With specialized software and trained staff, it fosters essential skills for education, employment, and independence, embodying TOGETHER’s commitment to inclusion and professional growth for persons with disabilities in Ethiopia.

On job

On the Job Training

Upon completing the course, trainees take CoC Level 1 exams to validate their IT knowledge and skills. Successful candidates join on-the-job training programs, gaining real-world experience that enhances their practical skills, builds confidence, and prepares them for success in their future careers.
